Green Period
"Green Period looks at the future of menstrual cups and my journey with menstruation since my first period in 1997. That year marked the death of two women who were central to my preteen years-princess Diana and Mother Theresa. Both were touted as the embodiment of womanhood. Yet they did not stain like I do.
The comic is a mix of a rant and an investigation. The rant stems from my own experiences with menstruation and the investigation has been my research into finding the most economical, green way to going red."
